About Pia

Having lived in the Middle East, Germany and several states in the U.S., I am currently living in Colorado, enjoying the Rocky Mountains.

I received my B.A. in Visual Communication at UC San Diego - with an emphasis on photography (still analog/film at the time :-)

Painting, sketching, and doodling was always a hobby, but it did not become serious until the purchase of my first iPhone and the introduction of the wonderful world of digital drawing. Apps such as Procreate and Sketchclub reignited my passion for drawing and I have been busy creating with my iPad and Apple pencil ever since.

In the past three years, I have had the opportunity to also experiment more in the traditional medium of Watercolors and Gouache.
